I just wrote down 12 spots that are worth noting and sharing with other authors and writers, especially when it comes to promoting your books. Out of the 12 that I listed in my handy little notebook, I did only one so far, and that was done just a few minutes ago. I want to try all of them, for you can never have too many spots to promote your goods when you are a serious writer/author.
I am now registered with Book Daily.com. Have you heard of it? Have you tried it? It would be good to have your feedback. So far I am liking what I see. I uploaded one book so far, "Broken Voices," since it is my best seller. I added a cover, a chapter excerpt and a description of the item. I also have a bookshelf there too, where I go and get books that I want to read. The titles I mark are put in this shelf and I get to read a sample chapter before I buy. I think that is a great incentive and a good idea. So right now, I am working on that bookshelf, but my profile is now completed and that includes my pic, bio and some of my favorite spots, including my website info. I am thinking this might just be a good thing. They say their site reaches a lot of readers, so we will see if anyone out there notices me and my books. I say books because I am going to upload the rest of them.
You know what, all this time I've been saying I have 9 books and working on book #10. I am so wrong, I have 10 published books and I am working on book number 11. Where's my head? In the top box, you only see 9 books. Guess I better put the 10th on here. I bet it is feeling neglected.....poor thing. Do you know what the 10th book is? Well here, take a look. This is the last one I did.
