However, all is not lost because it was bought to my attention an article that I had written a long while back. It had been so long since I looked at this article, but I was glad it was still being read and receiving good reviews of it. Someone mentioned it on LinkedIn. Now isn't that incredible? Actually, this was my first attempt at freelancing and while being the managing editor of Author-Me.com. Boy I liked having that title behind my name. That position was really sweet and I learned a lot from way back then. Anyway, as managing editor, I sometimes wrote articles for the Author-me newsletters. This is my first article that dealt with African children and international issues. After doing the research on the topic, I found out just how sad and bad the situation was and perhaps it still is. I wanted to bring the attention to as many readers as possible, for the sake of the children. I was touched by the information I found and now I want to share this information with you, just in case you missed it years ago......poverty still exists, not only in Africa but all over and children across the globe spend most of their childhood trying to live, accomplish and have dreams that give them hope of a better tomorrow, especially when "today" seems so dark and bleak in their immediate world of circumstances. Sometimes, it's not a pretty picture.
Please take time to read my article "The Diamonds of Africa". I believe it is still relevant to day as it was when it was first written years ago. Do you think things have changed? One way to find out is to do the research. Just click on the file below to read this incredible article.
